What is the first thing to come to mind when you imagine a game called WET? I would guess that it is nothing like this:
With so many major releases slipping into 2010, my willingness to give lesser known games a chance is rising. I anticipate picking this up when it launches in September.

The game seems to be a mix of “Stranglehold-esque” sword and gunplay fused with the presentation of Grindhouse. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, I didn’t get to play this at E3. I expect that it should be a fairly entertaining third person action game to keep me busy in the bare September release window.

P.S. I’ll get this out of the way. Most people know i’m a big fan of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” so the fact that Ruby is voiced by Eliza Dushku (Faith) is a definite selling point.

you know, now that you see it, it would be awesome if the people you killed in a game started breaking out in song, broadway musical style, about how hot you are.

i’m not quite sure about this game. as far as i can see it, it’s max payne meets devil may cry, but with a woman.
maybe it will have some charm, due to its jerry burheimer-esque look.
Looks interesting. Lord knows I do love me some Eliza.

reminiscent to Kill Bill, it looks entertaining.
interesting. a very nick game as some would put it.
it reminds me of kill bill and no more heroes, just without the intellegence of either of them
the gameplay reminds me of prince of persa and a little bit of beyond good and evil but with guns and a sword.
the lead character herself actually looks a little bit like jade to me though thats probably my imagination.
the whole game gives off a very B movie, grind house feel to it and it looks like it would be good for a cheesy laugh. love to see it played on the feed nick.
Looks like a 70′s movie trailer. Reminds me of Grindhouse. But it still looks awesome
Wow, this looks pretty interesting. Hadn’t really noticed this game till now. Guess that is another game to look into getting this year *whimper*.
I also quite liked “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and generally found Faith (Eliza Dushku) to be more interesting than the Eponymous slayer of the series. She has a pretty distinct voice and presence too that will probably fit this character.
However I recall her performance (and that of Michael Rosenbaum too for that matter) in the english dub for Yakuza being a bit disappointing, given the extensive acting background and all.
I can certainly see Eliza Dushku fitting the role of Rubi though. I look forward to seeing more of this game.

I actually have been looking forward to this game since the first trailer, I liked how you could run on walls and jump max payne style with dual guns and the double targeting system looks pretty okay, the animations looks a little stiff but I think it would be a fun game.
Crap I can’t think of any innapropriate Joke. I respect the originality of the trailer and a little turned on…
