Amidst the rain of bullets and blood… Spirit will always prevail.

Never forget what got us here.

Looks very interesting, haven’t played a Zelda since Majora’s Mask so definitely looking forward to trying Spirit Tracks.

Plus, that trailer had rocking music.

I like that Zelda isn’t completely useless in this one. :D

Hopefully Ghost-Zelda won’t turn into some sort of persistent gimmick.
I liked Phantom Hourglass, and I hope I can enjoy Spirit Tracks just as much.
But god fucking damn it, I STILL THINK PUTTING TRAINS IN A ZELDA GAME IS STUPID AS FUCK.
It just HAD to be trains, didn’t it?
Why couldn’t it be fighter-jets, or fucking Triforce-powered raptors. I’m sure Nick would jizz over that.

Well, I’m excited.

@Prowler; It’s not a Wind Waker spin off any more than Majora’s Mask was a spinoff of Ocarina of Time. Or any more than Link’s Adventure was a spinoff of the first game. It’s called a continuation of a story, a sequel if you will.

@Fady; Cool your jets, bro. This inclusion of trains could mean that Link is moving closer and closer to modern times, which, to be honest, is a little dumb, but if done right, it could be pretty cool. Just wait and see how it plays out.

@Darknezz; Why yes I would LOVE to see a futuristic Zelda game. Epona would make a perfect motorbike.

Fady, I didn’t say “futuristic.” I said “more modern.” Perhaps the inclusion of trains means industry, means larger towns and cities. Maybe a Steampunk Zelda game.

Again, if done well, it could be fantastic. And really, the inclusion of a train is nothing more than a land-based substitute for the boat. Is there really anything wrong with the Zelda developers trying something different?

mann im pretty excited for this game (even tough i dont have a Nintendo ds)……. they are introducing 2 new game play mechanics into the ds Zelda games plus ones we probably haven’t even seen yet (own for the win)

i just have to wonder what is next after these games… maybe a semi robotic suit that has a big soword

I love how people are complaining about the train when it seems to work on the same basic way the boat did, both mechanically and that they could easily both be steam powered. So there really isn’t any difference in the level of technology from Phantom Hourglass and this one.

I’ll make sure to see how Zelda works with her possession ability in this game.
