lot of games. will you guys be importing the ps3 version of no more heroes? It has the english audio surprisingly though it really is just the same game, just lacking the charm of the wii controls.

Looks good Brad.

I would suggest though, for your put down list, just DROP MH Tri altogether. It’s Monster Hunter, there’s nothing special about it. If you’ve never liked it before, that probably won’t change?

Also, put down White Knight Chronicles. I say this because WKC2 which should be out in Japan now, if not very soon, REQUIRES you to play through the first game before you can start the 2nd part, so the entirety of WKC1 with enhancements to the game they’ve added into WKC2 is in WKC2′s disc. I’d say just hold off and play the better version.

Also… I forgot to mention, but StarFox 64 makes a good break between any game. It only takes about an hour to beat (maybe two if you’re taking the hard route and dying a lot.) and can be some good stress relief.

I personally prefer the route:
Corneria w/ alternate boss –> Meteo (that asteroid field) w/ special gate route –> Katina –> Sector X –> Titania –> Macbeth –> Area 6 –> Venom

Though, if you must absolutely play with the Submarine… >_< good luck on the all hard route. I hate it. T_T

I wonder what those 3 secret upcoming games are…. But I can’t wait to see Sin & Punishment Star Successor on the feed, heard it’s one hell of a game.

The problem with Red Dead Redemption is that you start the game, then you push Mexican whores around for an hour and then get bored and turn the game off…it might make it easier on you if you did some missions, as they might put you in situations that you enjoy more and thus would help you move along in the game.

P.S. “That’s my purse, I don’t know you!”

Pretty ambitious list / year… I swear the past few years has had some much great stuff consistently come out that I can barely even scratch the surface of most games. I remember when I used to rely on RPGs with New Game + to hold me off for months til the next big release.

The only two games I think you really should give a few more chances before you drop for good are White Knight and Darksiders… Darksiders you are soooo close and the end parts of that game were some of the most enjoyable for me. Regarding White Knight, its just a underrated JRPG, nothing revolutionary by any means but still how often do we get console JRPG’s these days? It may seem like I am settling for anything, but it really is a decent game that is worth finishing at the very least.

I really think you should finish Red Dead Redemption. The ending to that game blew me out of the water and even though it’s repetitive as hell sometimes, there’s always fun stuff to do.

I see brad has Starfox 64 on the list, a bit of irony that it spawned the “famous” line that gave brad his quaint charm.

Brad’s forcing himself through Red Dead? As much as he claims to dislike it, I didn’t think he would finish it entirely. Personally, it would be cool if Brad picks up Deadly Premonition; it is such a great game for him to knock off.
