The End of Us is a short browser-based game by Chelsea Howe and Michael Molinari in which you play as a meteor that is moving through space. It is thematically reminiscent of some of Molinari’s other work, but is made distinctive by the actions of the accompanying AI-controlled meteor. It is surprisingly expressive (cute) through AI patterns that give the sense of two people playing together. Though the ending is somewhat overdone, the simple conveyance of friendship through the play itself is wonderful.

    Yeah, that was pretty neat.

I was also unaware of still being able to control at the end with the mouse instead of the arrow keys

I actually liked that. Sad ending, evocative. Nice game, thanks Ben.

I love coming across small indie titles like this. They're always driven so heavily by emotions that you can't help but smile at the little nuances.

While I was there, I checked out but that was [yesterday], which was a very uplifting experience. =D

Pretty good. Not so much a game as an example of AI done right. Still pretty good though.

And people say videogames can't be art.
I loved every second of this. It felt attached to the orange comet after a while.
