We were impressed by Undead Labs' State of Decay, and it was really not so much what we saw that pulled us in as it was what we were told. It's hard to demo a project as ambitious as this in a short amount of time on the floor of a convention, and even these screens don't do the scope of the game justice.
What we played, however, offered a great foundation for what's to come and you could begin to see the innerworkings of the game all starting to come together. These screens will give you an idea of the areas you'll be encountering as well as a closer look at the base camps the players will be able to upgrade as they try to survive in this new dead world.
