DmC Screenshots

Here is the latest Devil May Cry footage from Ninja Theory, and all of its beauty, all of its characterization, just makes me want Enslaved 2. Like sleeping with a bar-hop trollop while still pining for an ex, each curve of its luscious body just makes me yearn for flesh of days long past.

So yes. I'll play you DmC. I'll play the fuck out of you. Drive my manly spear into you, and spray you with the very tears of god that explode from me like a hose torn asunder by the sun. But know this. That the entire time, I'll be thinking of her. I'll be thinking of Enslaved.

You horrible slut.

with my experiences with DMC 3, I really don't get the backlash Ninja Theory is getting for this. This gameplay looks way easier to get in to. I'll keep playing DMC 3 see if it can prove me wrong.

Looks like a lot of pulling enemies in from a distance, I hope they have more ways to close a gap other than that. Still I think it looks pretty good. Say what you will about the combat, but these are the best environments ever in a DMC (DmC) game I think.

I'm actually starting to like teen Dante now but like what Dimensaur said there was a LOT of pulling enemies in, and those environments are gorgeous!

The combat finally looks like Devil May Cry! It's not as close-quarters though, and as previously mentioned that could turn into an overreliance on the whip / Devil Bringer equivalent. The guns still look a bit too powerful, the gun-juggling shown brings back memories of DMC2. However, it seems like they're making Dante still somewhat of a smartass, so that's nice.

Best thing about the footage? It confirms they're bringing back some heavy-ass industrial metal for the soundtrack. Hell yes.

.Yep...still cool. Dante is still pretty awesome. I would like a new Enslaved though.

How appropriate that I was just seeing some DMC4 gameplay and thinking that it was a pretty shitty game. Still had the fixed camera, they basically had 2 Dantes in the game only one had extra angst, the real Dante tried so hard to be cool he just seemed like giant gay cowboy joke. The series seriouly needed this reboot.

I'm loving almost everything about this game so far. I wish they would have just tried to make it a full reimaging instead of a prequel, because I think they could have made his superpowers make sense.

I think the game looks really awesome, but I think the environments (tho looking fantastic) were a little bit too open for just three enemies making the effects and such look not as flashy.
I think the combat looks good, the environments definitely look beautiful so far, really colorful but still kinda messed up and diabolic.
cant say I understood the backslash of this Devil may Cry, even tho the initial trailer was not the best, I can see how they've improved a lot with the looks of the combat though (even though the enemies seemed to take a little too many hits)

Pulling enemies in should be familiar by now. This ability was apparent in DmC4 with Nero.

I don't know, I but played this next to gameplay footage of Bayonetta and well...I understand this is just the opening but the demo section of Bayonetta was alone fun to not only play but to watch as well and this was kind of boring.

at this point i've seen enough of the game to not care very much about the people complaining about how different this game is. as a fan of the DMC series this will most likely be a buy for me

Now you can effortlessly stay in the air compared to last few iterations where you had to work to keep floating~

One, it looks quite nice, I liked the level design before, and getting a solid look makes me happy. The transition looks great. In a way, it reminds me of Bayonetta, but I thought that before about some areas. Either way, as much as I liked DMC3, some of the Tower looked really bland at times. Urg. I like out in the open gameplay. The gameplay itself had promise, I hope there is more than just that though. The opening level of Bayo, heck, the opening battle of Bayo had a lot going for it. And you barely had any weapons there. So, I hope they add a bit more spice to it, even though it looks nice and fluid.

The VAs sound really freaking good. I already love Dante's voice and acting, it's nicely befitting to the character. Not to mention the fact that he looks a lot more "dante" ish lately. I mean, he has a silly haircut(mainly because of the shape of his face), but he looks like a young man who has dealt with a bit much in his life otherwise. His outfit, yeah, looks good. And his outlook, great. As expected of Ninja Theory, great facial animation.

I think, in the end, I might pick this up even if the gameplay isn't great. I've seen more about how they are handling it, and the game has a good look and design and I'm interested in the story. I like how they are presenting Dante here and I do love how they handle story and cutscenes. I'm not as worried about this as I was, say, 6 months ago.
