Did you want the chance to play CCP's upcoming shooter Dust 514 early but missed the original closed beta? Well here's your chance to try again.

After a fairly extensive closed beta, CCP  is about to open the floodgates, and has expanded beta registration to the public.  If you already have an Eve Online account, CCP will be choosing a few select Eve players to enter the beta as early as next week.

Dust 514 is CCP's first foray into the first-person shooter realm, and it will work in collusion with the Eve Online MMO allowing PC players in space to shoot down orbital strikes to support console players on the ground. It's a fairly ambitious project that we have written about here, and here.
